PoliLingua Limited, a UK company, provides various language and business support services, including translation, interpretation, multicultural marketing, website globalization, subtitling, and voiceovers.
We are looking for a project manager who will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the company’s quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the translation industry, project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills in English.
- Manage translation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that all deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
- Communicate with clients to understand their project requirements, and provide regular project updates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Continuously monitor project quality and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project coordinators and other team members as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team
- 1+ years of experience in project management within the translation industry
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar
- Having experience with CAT tools like SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar is beneficial, but not required.
